I know theres slightly modified versions of the NBC themes over the years but they're still the same basic thing. same with with the lifetime one

anyways, which is your favorite?

The NBC one. Spooky and cool.

CBS and Lifetime are OK, but they don't do the show justice.

Of the themes listed, my favorite is the NBC version since it's creepier and cooler than the succeeding themes. When I first watched UM, I heard Lifetime's version of the show's theme and I thought it sounded good at first but NBC's version is way better.

Is the CBS version the one with the white light shining in the center of the misty blue background?

I'll have to go with the NBC theme as well, very creepy. Not only that, but the music they would use during the different segments, like missing persons or wanted, was also insomnia inducing!

yeah, it really gave an extra effect during the reinactments

All of themes can be quite scary, especially when listening to them at night when you're home alone.

But, I would have to say my favorite is the NBC theme song because its just cooler and that was when Unsolved Mysteries had better segments and creepier music with it!

Definately the original NBC version followed by the Lifetime version. I don't care much for the theme with the greenish misty background. I wish they would release a soundtrack album from this show.

The best theme, hands down, is the NBC opening theme from '87 to the '92-'93 season. It's great when trying to get a midnight thrill.
