No more bootleg/pirated copies!

The second Dragnet TV series has been announced for release on June 7, 2005. Premiering in 1967, the show ran for 4 seasons, and 98 episodes.
The 17 half-hour episodes from season 1 will be released in a 2 disc set, with a $39.98 suggested retail price. We can expect an English mono audio track, English, French and Spanish subtitles, and a full frame (1.33:1) picture.

Follow-up:

Last week Universal announced that Dragnet '67 - Season 1 will arrive in stores on June 7th. This is from the second television series starring Jack Webb (who also created, produced, and directed the show) as Sgt. Joe Friday and Harry Morgan (also well-known from M*A*S*H) as his partner, Bill Gannon. Yesterday they distributed the box art for this compilation, and it reveals that it is part of the initial wave of a new "Universal Classic Television" series of releases. Good-looking stuff here:

I bought mine today! I loved this show (and Adam-12). I can't wait for Adam-12 to be out on DVD.
