Please forgive me for not having all the specifics but does anyone remember the story of the businesswoman (blonde, last seen wearing a red dress) who had dinner at Applebee's (I think) with her business partner?
The few details I remember is that she was found dead, the business partner was of Indian descent, he vomited in the parking lot but the police were unable to determine if he was actually with her that night by examining the contents of his stomach. Something about the man's t-shirt being wet then disappearing...his girlfriend remembers that he was out of breath when he got home. He seemed dissheveled. Anyone remember this case? Any updates? jeeps |

Yes, I remember the story. Her name was Joan Jefferies. That was such a gross scene, I remember they even had the lab analyze the vomit. There's no doubt in my mind that her business partner was responsible. Plus that ridiculous story that the night she was murdered he decided to go for a bike ride after dark after years of not exercising thus explaining why his shirt was off. Yea right! I don't know of any updates on the case.

Thanks for the reply crystaldawn.
It stayed with me because I remember her daugter on UM - who was actually quite striking like her mom - pleading for someone to come forward who saw the two of them at the restaurant. How horrible it must be for the daughter to go about her day-to-day activities realizing her mother's killer is walking the streets free and clear. As Kane always says, we should never give up hope that the killer will be brought to justice, I hope this time it's sooner than later. jeeps |
