I'm sorry for going wild over smilies, but just noticed the others on the drop-down menu. Next time, I'll only use the relevent ones --REALLY!

Unrealistic would be Gomer being in camp for five years as a private first class during wartime, and fraternization with Sgt. Carter, and later with his pal, Duke, when he got promoted. But it can be seen as a place where these guys live, so they do hang out.
Sgt Bilko hung out with his platoon, especially Rocco and Alan Melville ( was that his name? )'s character

How about Sergant Carter's "Alvin and the Chipmunks" voice after Gomer slipped a little of Grandma Pyle's concoction for curing laryngitis into his coffee.
