We're also told that Paramount is very happy with the sales of season 1, so the show isn't being delayed based on poor sales (so no need to panic).

We can probably expect the August announcement to come sometime in May. We'll keep you updated with any information we can dig up before then.

well, doesn't this suck? I was willing to forgive the fact that the sets had zero extras when the series was expected to come out of intervals of 3 months at a time. Some seasons (like season 5) really aren't worth waiting 6 months for. Why do Charmed fans always get the shaft? It was the last of the WB's "golden era" of shows to come out on DVD, and then it also got zero in the way of extras, despite a hardcore following, then after Paramount promised us four sets a year, decide to go and just do 2.

Oh my God, I'm really angry about this. I had planned to get it for my birthday in June. God, I just hope that they bring out season 3 in November, I'll be screwed if I'm waiting 7 months for one damn season.
Charmed fans really do seem to get the worst in terms of the shows merchandise.

I know, but originally it was slated for a May release, now it has been pushed back 4 months. Its a long time to wait for 1 season.

i know, Cheers season 4 should have been out last yr but it was released this January!

I wish WTB would be released this yr (seasons 2-8, as all the WTB fans want the dvds out now!)
