im looking for someone who can transfer a couple pal tapes into nstc format...im willing to pay all costs envolved

Try this site. I've used them in the past. I think they charge $15.00 for a conversion:

Hi,
I can do it and am much cheaper, what do you have to trade? I can do vhs or dvd. PAL to NTSC.

Hello: I have 2 movies that I would just love to have converted. The only problem is that they may have MACROVISION or some other form of COPYGUARD. The movies are OPEN SEASON (PAL VERSION) and EVASION (PAL VERSION). These VHS tapes are NOT AVAILABLE on NTSC USA/CANADA format. That is why I need the conversion.
