I can't remember their names or when it aired, but there was a story about a custody battle that took place I think in Texas and the dad took the kids from the mom. She tracked them to Ireland but the UK authorities held her up in the airport and the hotel manager where she thought her kids were wouldn't tell her anything. Whatever happened?

My memory is sketchy but I think the boys names were Charles and Christopher Smith. I do know they were reunited with their mother. It seems like the jury awarded the mother a HUGE amount of money (I think they said it was a record amount) when she sued the boys paternal grandparents. I think there was a warrant issued for the grandparents and they were on the run. I want to say the father was captured when the boys were found but I'm not positive. Feel free to add (or correct) any details if any of you guys know any more.

It was actually Scotland, not Ireland. The mother was awarded $53 million in her lawsuit. The father was captured in Mexico, but as far as I know the grandparents are still fugitives.
