I don't know if this has been brought up before (and it probably has) but did anyone else notice that Jenilee Harrison's acting seems rather fake? Compared to the acting skills of Joyce and John's, hers seems like she was trying too hard. Maybe Joyce and John were just so comfortable with their characters that they didn't need to put in a lot of effort to make the character seem real. But in Jenilee's case, I think she over did it.

She was a Rams Cheerleader, so she didn't have much experience in the acting department. I didn't think her acting was bad, but I thought it was okay. It was nothing compared to John and Joyce's though.

Also, wasn't Jenilee 21 at the time of the show?

Ya you have to keep in mind that the writers and producers were still trying to recover from the SS catastrophe and Janilee just came out of no where with nothing, so I think she didn't pretty good for what her background was

I liked JH! she was kinda funny! I think her smile was kinda funny and looked overdone but other then that like eveyone says she didn't have the experiance as the other characters or the time to adjust to her character and get comfty w/it!

I think she started out looking a little stiff and unnatural, but seemed to relax and get better as the episodes went along.

Jenilee was cute in her own way. She wasn't like John or Joyce but then again you shouldn't really compare them. She was very funny and that's what the show needed....comedy. It still amazes me how great she did in spite of all that was going on in the set [with Somers] and the fact that she didn't really have much experience. She did great and was very funny. I liked her alot!! I'm sure the constant abuse Jack took from her made the show funnier imo!!

My favorite Jack/Cindy moment was when she hit him in the head with a tennis racket, it was timed sooo perfectly, and John's expression was hilarious

Well, her acting talent was good enough to get a recurring role as Jaime Ewing in "Dallas" between 1984 and 1987.
