About a week ago, Lifetime aired an episode that looks similar to this episode described in the Episode Guide. However, the segment I underlined about the death of an Ohio 17-year old who disappeared after a Halloween Party did not air. Does anyone know anything about this segment or case.
Original Air Date: November 23, 1988 Cases involving the suspected murders of two priests, one in New Mexico and one in Montana; the disappearance of a Los Angeles man after he used an automatic bank-teller machine; the death of a 17-year-old Ohio youth, who disappeared after attending a Halloween party. |

I think the story they're referring to is Kurt Sova. He was a teenager that was last seen at a party then disappeared. His body was found I think 5 days later in an area that had already been searched not far from the location of the party he attended. The most baffling part was the ME couldn't tell what he had died from. There was no trauma on the body and no drugs or alcohol in his system. Feel free to chime in guys if I've left out any details.
I have this recorded off Lifetime so I know they show it, but don't know if they air it very often. |

During the time Kurt was missing, before he was found dead, a missing flyer was put on the window of a record store and some strange man told the girl that worked there that Kurt would be found dead in a few days and that no one will be able to tell how he died. It was later found out that the strange man was from Detroit, but I don't know if he was ever questioned by the police.
Also, during the time he was missing, a friend of his had seen Kurt on a busy street with another kid. The friend said Kurt yelled out "Franco" and then got in someone's van. This friend didn't know that Kurt was missing at the time, so he didn't go after Kurt. Those two aspects of the case are very strange. |
