I go through the New York Radio Message Board that I saw a post on remembering Crazy Eddie. Do you know what it was? Crazy Eddie was a electronics store in Paramus NJ. I remember seeing the commercial on TV since I was a kid. Larry Weiss, the guy who post it on the New York Radio Message Board gave the response on Crazy Eddie:

You hear that sort of thing in a lot of places. That's not my milieu. Rock and roll is good-time music. I love rock. So did my parents. |

There was a Crazy Eddie in my home town when I was growing up.
Used to go there all the time to get the new Atari games and also to buy cassettes and albums and eventually cds- right until they closed. Got my first cds there, including Pink Floyd The Wall. I knew a girl working there at the time and she let me have it for $10.00. Eddie Antar lived down the block from me in Brooklyn. I didn't know him but I think my father knew his father. He was older than me and older than anyone I was friends with. I don't remember anyone talking about him with first hand knowledge. He turned out to be a notorious and crooked wheeler dealer. I don't think anyone misses him.
