Default Janet's appeal

I was wondering something, an observation I've noticed for the past few months that I've been on this board. It seems to me that a lot of guys(and girls too) find Janet very attractive and typically enjoy her character(I do too, so I'm not disagreeing here ) Now, this may be wrong of me to assume, but is it safe to say that the blonde thing isn't "in" anymore? I always thought: "Wow, the guys must really like Chrissy best" because I thought she was the perfect ideal for the blonde, busty, curvy girl.

My question is, what is it about Janet that you love? I personally love her because of her smart, sassiness I also find her attractive, curves and all! Then again, I love Chrissy and the others too in their own ways

Until recently, the blonde bombshell look (and all the characteristics that went along with it) was "in." So during the time the show first ran, Suzanne's sex appeal was a big part of the show and a large population went for that kind of look. But as we all know, times change. We are seeing a lot more brunettes in comedic roles presently. And as we look back on sitcoms past, we begin to appreciate the subtle sex appeal of the brunette. I personally appreciate Joyce's role because she was sexy and intelligent.

I LOVE JANET! She is totally my fav. not only because Joyce is my fav. in the show but b/c I totally enjoy the Janet character. She was >>>SMART<<< , funny, old fashion but with a character and a great friend!! I also think she was really pretty all the girls were but I think Janet was the prettiest! I love her dark eyes and dark hair! She was different...!

Thanks for the replies I totally agree- Janet was smart AND sexy. See, although Chrissy IS my favorite roomate(I just totally loved her character), I think Janet was the prettiest. I'm glad the blonde bombshell look is quickly fading I'm proud to say I'm a brunette(well, auburn )

I love Janet because she's smart, witty, and just an overall great person. I'd love to have a friend like her in real life. Though all of the roomates were pretty, I personally think that Janet was the prettiest of them all.

I totally agree Janet, in my opinion, was the most "relatable". You can imagine having someone like her as a close friend(Terri too). Janet rocks!! Go brunettes!

When Joyce DeWitt got rid of the plain Jane look that Janet had in the first three seasons and went for the short sassy hairstyle in the beginning of season 4 her real beauty came out. I always thought Joyce was very attractive but it was the way the writers and producers had Janet looking in the early episodes. That godawful perm was the worse and it did not serve her well.

I really liked her in Season One the best, I think- I loved her cute bob! It made her look spunky and cute.....Joyce Dewitt is extremely pretty.

I like the season one hair cut the best too. No matter what her hair style was, I think she looked great through out the whole show! She has a great boby with curves woman would kill for! I'm surprised Janet didn't have more boyfriends in the show. Until the end, she got married, but she's so sexy and she has a good head on her shoulders, she should have had more men. I still think Jack and Janet should have ended up together!
