Has anyone heard anything about ratings for last nights episode? Also, I haven't seen it yet as I was playing hockey last night. I'm at work right now, and am contemplating going home at lunch to watch it. Good move???

They should be out in a few hours... between 11am and 1pm Eastern.

The overnights for Wednesday's ratings have been delayed. The fast nationals (Nielsen Rating) should be in soon, if not delayed as well.

OK here are the ratings (it's not good)... 4th place in time slot behind ABC, FOX and CBS, witha 4.6/7 Nielsen Rating. That is under 7 million viewers, but final numbers will be available tonight.

That's very bad... NBC will not keep that show on with pathetic numbers like that.

and last night it faced RERUNS(except for the Rather special). It's all worse from here with Survivor new the next 2 weeks and then Lost all-new.

Lost is too strong. Even a rerun posted close to an 8 rating/12 share.

All are first run episodes. NBC has not aired any encores. It got off to a decent start, but unacceptable for Sundays. 5.5 would be excellent for Fridays, but even the lower 4.5 ones would be bad for Fridays.

So last night's 4.6/7 rating is down from the last two telecasts in January.

Here are the adults 18-49 ratings for the 8pm timeslot. It was worse, 5th place, behind UPN!

FOX “That ‘70s Show” 4.6 average for two episodes (original and repeat)
ABC “Lost” encore 4.0
UPN “America’s Next Top Model” 2.3
CBS "Dan Rather special" 2.3
NBC "American Dreams" 2.0

The latest I could find......since we are all concerned and hope for the best.

FOX also led among adults 18-49, posting a 6.8 rating in the demographic advertisers covet. ABC, 4.0, finished second, while CBS's 3.0 nipped NBC's 2.9 for third. UPN averaged 1.6 and The WB 0.9.

A rerun of "Lost" won the 8 p.m. hour for ABC with a 7.9/12. FOX got a 6.3/10 from two episodes of "That '70s Show," finishing just ahead of Dan Rather's CBS send-off, "A Reporter Remembers." The first Wednesday airing of "American Dreams" posted a 4.6/7 for NBC, on par with the show's season average. "America's Next Top Model" earned a 3.4/5 for UPN. The WB went with a repeat of "Smallville."

I don't know how to read these numbers....but the rest of you seem to think it's not good. Maybe better numbers come out later tonight, as some have said these are early numbers.
It does say we "matched our average".

Well, that's not good, and it's only going to get worse the next 2 weeks, when it goes up against Survivor. It would've been nice to have seen more than a couple promos for it, but that probably wouldn't have helped much. It held most of it's core audience with the shift in timeslots, but that's not good enough.

How did the West Wing do? Any way to find out the ratings for the last 15 mins. of AD-- maybe they were higher, with people waiting for WW to come on. I know, I'm grasping.
