Post Do you think it's true?

Hey fellow "Frienatics!
I recently heard on a 'legit' Hollywood program that "Friends" just might have a 9th season because their movie careers aren't taking off so well and they, well, need the money. Do you think this is true? I wouldn't mind it if it were!

Nala, I think you're right on the money (no pun). They may make close to a million dollars a week, but when you lead a rich lifestyle, you need money to support it. When you buy a 100 grand car (or two), a house (or im some cases mutliple houses), boats, take trips, take care of your families, etc., the money can run low pretty quick. And then once a show goes off the air, you have to make that money last the rest of your life, especially if you have not established yourself as a movie star as well (which goes for the whole cast). You may get lucky and end up one of those old sitcom actors that still gets cast in guest roles cuz you once had a successful show, but the big money you made has to last you forever.

Nope. Jennifer Aniston has announced that the FRIENDS will be parting ways after this season. Gee, I wonder what the finale will be? Rachel has her baby perhaps?

Default Who says?!?!?

Who says the cast hasn't led a successful acting lifestyle. I'm sorry, but that doesn't apply to every one of them, as Matthew Perry has starred in many movies, since Friends has been departing.... So you can't possibly say that applies to everyone on the cast. It absolutely Does NOT! :o Trust me, they are successful, anyways... Jennifer Anniston is married to Brad Pitt? H E L L O!!! Doesn't that tell you anything?

Default Well...

According to People magazine, the cast and crew are all willing for AT LEAST another season. Audiences and the cast and crew have really taken to the show after 9/11.

Default I heard the opposite on E.T!!!

I like to see another season of friends but,I heard a different story on E.T.They were saying that they were not sure about another season because all the cast are asking for 1,000,000 per episodes.

u cant really say that their movie careers havent picked off, i mean... yeah they make more money and are more famous on friends, but it doesnt really matter how well the movie does in the box office... they still get paid top dollar because their face is in the movie. u gotta look at the different views on needing money, but i think they should stay with friends for another season differently, but i gotta say, after a season 9, its gonna get really old... because u can only do so many jokes with Chandler and Monica married and Rachel and Ross havin a child is gonna totally change the show alot... i would LOVE to see a season 9 because u wanna see what happens AFTER this season... but unless they come up with something so AMAZING for a season 9, i doubt a season 10. but TOTALLY season 9
