Default Tristan's World

Tristan's World

This sitcom is based on the world according an average, everyday teenage boy named Tristan Miller. Tristan Miller is played by Taylor Ball. Tristan Miller is 17 years old, a junior at Chilton High School. Tristan's family consists of a dad, his dad's girlfriend, his mom, an older brother, and a (13 months) younger brother. (Tristan's parents are divorced, and share split-custody of the youngest two boys). Tristan's dad, Chris Miller, 42 (Ted McGinley) is an orthodontist. Tristan's dad's girlfriend, Adrienne Burke, 36 (Portia de Rossi) is a 2nd grade teacher. Tristan's mom, Paula Miller, 41 (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is an advertizing executive. Tristan's older brother, Perry Miller, 22 (Rider Strong) is an unemployed high school dropout. Tristan's younger brother, Logan Miller, 16 (Martin Spanjers), is a sophomore in high school. Chris and Paula married six months before Perry was born in 1982, and divorced six months before Perry turned 20 in 2002. Chris and Paula remain civil towards each other and sort of are 'friends' to an extent since their divorce became finalized. Chris began dating Adrienne a year after his divorce from Paula. Chris and Adrienne live together in Chris and Paula's old house, as Paula moved out and bought her own house across town. Perry lives in Paula's basement like his usual free-loading self. Perry is jobless and never finished high school (he dropped out high school just before his senior year of high school). The reason why he dropped out was because his girlfriend at the time thought she was pregnant with his kid yet his girlfriend was not carrying his child (she needed to think of someone to be the father, she didn't know who the baby's father was.). Ever since then, Perry never went back to school and enjoys being a "mooch". Logan and Tristan are extremely close brothers. They are thirteen months apart. Tristan and Logan use to be mistaken for twins when they were younger. Logan likes cars, girls, sports, girls, music, and girls. Logan is a tad girl-crazy, just like Perry and Tristan were-yet Logan never really gotten out of that stage. He enjoys going on random dates with random girls casually (like Perry does). Tristan has a girlfriend who has been going out with him for over a year now. She is a year older, an 18 year old high school senior. Tristan's amazingly gorgeous girlfriend, Erica Taylor (Lindsay Lohan) is perfect for Tristan in every way possible. Besides Erica and Logan, Tristan's same-age best friend is Jason Stewart (Andrew Lawrence). Jason, Tristan, Erica, and Logan hangout quite frequently.

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
Tristan begins his junior year as does Jason. Also, Erica begins her senior year and Logan begins his sophomore year. Chris and Adrienne are happy to see his kids head back to school. Meanwhile, Paula struggles with the decision of forcing Perry to find a job.

Ep2: Recruiting My Ex:
Paula resorts to having Chris help her out when she tells Perry to go get a job or she will have to kick him out for good. Perry, in fear of being kicked out for good, goes out and searchs for a good-paying job. Erica and Tristan celebrate their 14 months of dating by going out to a fancy restaurant-where they learn Jason has a gotten hired as a waiter. Its his first day, and isn't well-trained yet [and it shows!].

Ep3: Morning Mishaps:
Logan accidently walks in Adrienne coming out of the shower. Adrienne feels "dirty" after having her boyfriend's son see her naked, as Logan is still shocked and amazed at her beauty. Meanwhile, Perry begins to date a nice, smart girl (Jodie Sweetin) for a change (instead of party-girls like usual).

Ep4: Dinner With The Family:
Perry and his new girlfriend, Melanie (Jodie Sweetin) take the family (Paula, Chris, Adrienne, Logan, Tristan, and even Erica) out for a fancy dinner. They choose the restaurant where Jason happens to be working. The Miller clan get Jason as their waiter and "give him a hard time". During dinner, Perry gets upset with his family-who ignore Melanie's presence and decide to order expensive things off menu (since Perry is treating everyone)--except for Erica. Erica and Melanie hit it off great.

Ep5: Return Of Grandma:
Paula's meddling mother, Gloria (Dixie Carter) pays her annual weeklong visit to her daughter and grandsons. Paula, Perry, Tristan, and Logan must "grin and bear it" during Gloria's visit. Yet Gloria secretly (without Paula's knowing) plans to have dinner plans with Chris and Adrienne. In Gloria's defense, Chris feels like the son she never had. As expected, Paula is greatly upsetted by Gloria turning down Paula's dinner suggestions to go out with Chris and Adrienne-especially since Gloria made Paula take the week off.

Ep6: Maybe More?:
Adrienne hounds Chris into talking about marriage and their relationship's future. Chris reluctantly talks about marriage with Adrienne during a heavily-alcohol-induced dinner. During dinner, an unsober Chris actually pops the question to Adrienne to accepts. The next morning, a now-sober Chris learns he and Adrienne are now engaged-must to his dismay. Logan and Tristan get angry that Chris didn't inform them about his engagement, after hearing Adrienne boasting about it over the phone. Meanwhile, Paula is shocked to learn Chris is engaged again.

Ep7: Asking Advice:
Chris asks Paula and the boys' advice about how to break it to Adrienne that he was drunk and isn't ready for marriage again. Adrienne is told that Chris isn't ready for marriage by Chris. Adrienne flips out and goes ballistic, then has a hour-crying jag. Meanwhile, Perry gets hired at the District Attorney's office as maintenance. Melanie is proud of Perry for getting a job, even though, his brothers and their friends give him a hard time.

Ep8: Somewhere To Go:
During the middle of the night, Paula and Perry find a drunken Adrienne on their doorstep in need of a place to stay. They let her spend the night, but the next morning, Perry and Paula learn Adrienne's intentions are anything but temporary. Chris learns where Adrienne is staying, and tries to win back Adrienne-who has her heart set on moving in with Paula and Perry-who quickly get annoyed by her lifestyle. Meanwhile, Erica learns she has gotten accepted to Yale. Erica is excited and thrilled, as Tristan, Jason and Logan are forced to deal with Erica having to be so far away from them-even though they are happy for Erica.
