Default Public Enemy's Fight The Power Song

This song cracks me up when Chuck D says Elvis was a hero to most but he never meant s**t to me, straight up racist. Then Flavor Flav says muthaf**k him & John Wayne hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

This song trips me out too. Chuck D. told it like it was baby. As black people in america, this was the first song since James Brown Say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud to really have a voice in black america. Whoever gets on this thread and debates what i just said, I really don't care. I'm telling it like it is. I viewed on the random post where someone made a thread that they hate rap videos. That's all good. Mostly everyone who responded on that thread was bashing rap. That is all good, you can like and dislike what you want. But if we submitted a thread that we hate rock music, they would all have a fit and start debating. Fight The Power!!!

I never said i hated rap music. I just made fun of the videos, which are all the same.

I listened to Public Enemy quite a bit in College, and they are still one of the best groups in rap.

I do agree with you that most rap videos are the same & that's why i don't watch rap videos anymore. Rap City on BET is terrible now. Back in the early 90's, they used to show videos from everybody. Now they only show videos from certain rappers. I miss seeing grimey videos that were done in the hood. Now every rap video is in a club with lots of women shakin their asses half naked.

I know it was about the videos, mostly everybody that responded took it to the music itself.

Is that the song by Public Enemy that refers to an Isley Brothers song?
