It stands for nothing, the same thing the J in Michael J Fox stands for.

------------------
Alex: Skippy, remember when we were little kids and I accidently ran over you with my bicycle?
Skippy: Yeah
Alex: I drive a car now.

Default Oh, I know this one!

Alex's birth name is, indeed, Alexander P. Keaton. You know, once, I had a similar question about his name. I wasn't sure if it was Alex or Alexander. In an episode that I saw rather recently, Mallory addressed him as Alexander. (It was the episode in which they had an IQ test challenge against each other.) I THINK it's called "Designated Hitter", but I'm not sure.... It's Designated something-or-other.

P. S. Isn't Alexander a great name?

P. P. S. Isn't he A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E?

(Sorry, that was a little off topic.)

Haha, really? Well, I knew that he was born in Africa, but I didn't know they named him Moonbeam. What episode did they say that in?

But yeah, they never clarified what the "P" stood for.

Michael said he made the "P" up in an episode. (said that in Lucky Man) Don't know if it stood for anything... He Was Born in AFRICA??!!! What were those hippie parents of his doing THERE?! I'd love to hear more about this, and MOONBEAM?! *snickers and then laughs really hard* That's great. Adds a lot to his character, I must say!
