Default I noticed something on the DVD

I just got the DVD a few days ago and I'm about halfway through. Well, in the episode "54-40 and Fight" there's a scene where they show Alice in the service porch giving Tiger a bath, but I swear that's the EXACT same scen they used of her in the episode "Katchoo". I don't get why one scene would be in 2 different episodes.

Unless I'm just seeing things, I thought that was really odd.

I've noticed that years ago watching the show in syndication. It makes sense in Katchoo, but I don't know why they put it in 54-40 and Fight. Alice makes a reference to Tiger in that episode that seems out of place in relation to the rest of the episode, and then they show that scene. Maybe it was to pad the episode a few seconds.

I thought it was just me. They probably nned to show a scene where Tiger was getting wet so that they could explain the trading stamps sticking to him and did not want to go through all the bother of setting up a dog washing scene when they had several from "Katchoo" already in there. Also, I think that it is obvious to tell that it was an inserted scene. Something just doesn't look right....

Guys,

The scene is identical footage in both episodes! The reasons are probably those that the above poster mentioned.

I wonder if Robert Reed complained about this!

Another thing is, a lot of the scenes on these episodes I've only recently have seen. I've been watching the BB for like 11 or 12 years but I used to always watch it on TBS for years and they always CUT OUT certain scenes!

I didn't even realize there were scenes cut out until they started showing it on TVLAND and I would see a scen that I never had scene before. I was VERY confused and finally I got that TBS cut out those scenes!

So, there's still some episodes where I haven't seen certain scenes only because TBS never showed them!

This was also mentioned on another thread. The one thing that was added when the scene was re-used in 54-40 and Fight was Alice uttering the line, "You're getting the floor all wet!". Those of you with the DVD set play both of them and you'll see what I mean.

Ive noticed that about other tv shows too, i bought the greatest american hero dvd and in several episodes they show the same exact flying sequences, allso in the brady bunch you may notice that they had on the same clothes in some ep,s that they wore in other ep,s, well other than alice who wore her uniform.
