Question ........and the father is???

OK, who wants to speculate a guess who the father of Rachel's baby is???

My guess is her former assistant (can't recall his name, though!)

Come on, it's got to be Ross! Anyone else would just be cruel to fans. They're ending the show next year, so they have to get Ross and Rachel together as well as Phoebe and Joey. I bet they had bonus night.

Go to NBC Connection and post your opinion on the show. You can see others' opinions as well.

Its just gotta b Ross...i mean this is what i think. Ok u all know how Ross and Rachel kissed in the seasons premere this year. (TOW Monicas Thunder) so i think that they have been 2gether since then and didn't tell any one because they didn't want to steel Monicas thunder again. Knowing how she can get...lol.
what do ya'll think bout that?

Thanks, Lindz! I finally saw the 30th birthday episode last night on Fox and I heard Rachel call his name, but couldn't make out whether she said "Ted" or "Tag" or "Tad." Oh, well.....

Another possibility is Paulo. Given how all the rest of the "friends" dislike this guy immensely, Rachel may have bumped into him one night and they could've had a one-night stand which resulted in her getting pregnant. However, she knew if she told anyone about it, they'd all go nuts, so she's kept it to herself. Just a thought.....

This may be a bit far fetched but here's who i think the father is.....Brad Pitt! He is supossed to do some guest spots on the show and i think his charecter will be written in as a one night stand that Rachel never told any of her friends about. i can't see them bringing Tag back so i don't think it's his and the whole Ross and Rachel thing is old and now that Monica and Chandler are married i don't think they'll put two of the other main characters together.

That is true about putting Rachel and Ross back together, but think about it this way...
Vegas! Rachel and Ross got married. I mean, it has to be Ross. I heard someone say it was Gunther, but I just don't see that one. I think it is Ross...
Does Phoebe turn 40 on the show soon? LOL. All I know is Phoebe had that "back up" with Joey. All the mains could end up together. You never know. There may even be a spin off of the show.

The Vegas episode was two years ago. It's funny how many people I talk to who still think Ross and Rachel getting married happened last year. I guess Chandler proposing to Monica doesn't stick out in people's minds as much. I bet Rachel isn't even pregnant. The producers are just trying to throw people for a loop.

It could still be Ross. I mean, I didn't see the Vegas episode because I was out of town, but it wasn't two years ago. It was toward the end of last season. Too much time doesn't go by between episodes either, seasons too. I think it could be Joey too. Mostly because Rachel lives with him. My friend thinks it is Chandler because it would break up Monica and him, and soon, the show. The show ends next year anyway.

The Vegas Episode was two years ago. May 2001 Chandler and Monica marry. May 2000 Chandler proposes to Monica. May 1999 Ross marries Rachel while drunk. May 1998 Monica and Chandler sleep together for the first time in London.

That's good that you know dates and all, but do you know exactly how much time passes between shows or seasons? Most shows are done around a couple days. There are normally ten or twelve new shows in a season, some that are continued, like the proposal. That means that only about a month goes by in a season, so in those two seasons, it has been two months! That isn't too long...but it might be a little longer. Not two years though, even though it has been about two years.

There are usually 22 to 25 new episodes a year of "Friends". Granted, time in their world might not coincide exactly with how we watch the show, but an entire season does not represent a month in their lives. If that were true, then seven years of the show would equal seven months of them being together total.
That would mean Ross would have gotten
divorced three times in that span already. And his son Ben would be born and become six years old in turn. The Vegas thing may not measure up exactly, but if Ross is the father, he sure as hell didn't conceive with Rachel in that episode.
