Default OLD CASE involving 2 kid killers

I need help remembering a very old case that has creeped in my head. 2 kids were spotted causing mischeif in a small town. They knocked on the door of an elderly couple I believe and killed both of them. One of the kids was wearing a mysterious earring or something. I believe it was updated and solved but I remember the update was very short and contained little info. Since they were juvineiles, I wonder if the kids were punished severely enough. Kane or someone, PLEASE POST IF YOU REMEMBER THIS CASE!

I know which case you're thinking about, even though I don't remember the names of the killers. Their crime spree occured in Texas in the spring of 1988, and they killed four people, including the two elderly people you mentioned (a sixty-something and his eighty-something father); one of the elderly victims was named Cecil. As for their other two victims: one was a young mother who was nearly decapitated; the other, a man they lured to a remote location with the false claim that their car had broken down.

By the time the case had originally aired in early 1990, there was a development (although it came a little too late to add an UM update to the original telecast). They had arrested the two teens, who were later sentenced to life in prison (although they will be eligible for parole in the year 2020).

Did they ever provide names of the killers or victims. I would like more information?

The killers names were William Glen Henry and Davy Lynn Crockett. They are serving their sentences at the Texas Department of Corrections in Huntsville, Texas

I'm not crystaldawn, but I'd bet my paycheck she got that information from the update at the end of the segment.

Nice observation, Justin.

I do have this on tape and rewatched it so I could get the names for you. The killing spree happened on 3/7/88. The first victim was 23 and named Dina Woodard. She was killed in Gainesville. The second and third victims were Cecil Morrison, 85 and his son Cecil Leonard Morrison, 62. They were killed in Farmersville, TX. The fourth and final victim was Kenneth Olden, 29, and he was killed in Saratoga, AR.

I didn't search online for any additional information. I doubt you could find much since it is so old and the murderers have already been convicted and sentenced.

Hope this helps!
