Battlestar Galactica vs. Buck Rogers - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know this poll probably belonged somewhere on the television board, but I placed it here so that more people would see it. I'm sure more than a few of you remember these two tacky late 1970's science fiction shows. When they were reruned during the mid-1980's I used to watch Buck Rogers all the time. However, I never was able to get into Battlestar Gallactica. Recently on Sci-Fi I saw on episode of Buck Rogers, and though it was has corny as ever, I enjoyed it.

Battlestar had the Cylons, Dirk Benedict, and Baltar, played by the late great John Colicos.

Buck Rogers had Gil Gerard and Twikki.

When did John Colicos die? He played Kor on both the original Star Trek as well as Deep Space Nine.

This is some bizarre coincidence.

Today (March 6) is the 5th anniversary of his death!

John Colicos died on March 6th, 2000.

I'm a little freaked out.

Wow, that is bizzare. That means he died about one year after he made his final appearance on DS9, the episode in which Kor himself dies in battle.
