Was there an awful lot of laughing going on by the cast members in the first season that was absent from all the rest? It seems like they laughed on every other word they said in that season. Did anybody else notice this?

I think the only episode that i think they were legitimately laughing was whendj got his head caught in the drawer and roseanne had to grease it out. after that happened roseanne and jackie(or laurie metcalf whatever) started bursting out laughing.

yes ive noticed that too...there were a lot of laughing in the 1st season between the cast espicially roseanne laughed a lot after a lot of the jokes i wonder if it was part of the script or if it was like a goof cause in a lot of scripts it might say "insert laugh here" but yeah just a thought...

I THINK THAT ROSEANNE WAS AFRAID TO BE HERSELF IN THE FIRST SEASON. IF YOU NOTICE HER VOICE IS REALLY PITCHED BUT I THINK SHE HAD A RECIPE FOR COMEDY THAT NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO DO SINCE LUCY.
