Default Chrissy Phone Scenes Pointless in Season 5?

If Chrissy's absence was already explained on the show, why in the hell would the producers have phone scenes at the end of certain eps?-LOL That probably was the weirdest thing of season 5 in addition to Cindy appearing to be Homeless when she first shows up at the APT

you are right they new Suzanne Sommers wasn't going to return. I think it would be neat if they mentioned her latter on. And where does all of chrissys stuff go. Does Cindy take it or what. She didn't move out she was visiting somebody in the hospital. weird

LOL-you know what i never thought about that. You should change your screen name to TheRealTVShow Analyzer because I'm slipping-lol. But you bring up a good point because if Chrissy was just visting, where would all stuff all of a sudden vanish to?

They probably kept doing the phone tag scenes with Chrissy so they wouldn't slip in the ratings. Everyone was still used to Suzanne being a part of the cast, and it was said on the show that Chrissy was just visiting her sick mother, which implied that she would return. Most people still wanted to see Chrissy.

You're right... Plus, it would've looked really strange if they just completely dropped her from the show, without any inkling of why. I guess they figured they'd just slowly ease her away until the audience got used to Cindy.

Another strange thing about the phone scenes is Chrissy never asked-"How is my Cousin Cindy Doing?-LOL

There was a tag scene that wasn't shown on Nick @ Nite where she talked about Cindy. It was the episode "Father Of The Bride" and Janet was explaining the situation with Winston and Cindy to Chrissy. Chrissy then gets insulted that she wasn't invited to her own cousin's wedding LOL!

They should be included on the DVD, and I'm really looking forward to seeing them. Especially the one with Jack and Chrissy, since they never showed it on Nick @ Nite and TV Land.

Really? Wow, he's lucky. Yeah I agree, I'd just like to listen to it. The quality can't be any worse than that Three's Company bloopers tape.

Yeah he said he recieved the ep from overseas and it's unwatchable. I would just be happy with the TAG itself and wouldn't need the episode
