Default Ever been an Adam Hecht update?

This is another case that always bugged me. Adam Hecht was the guy in Beverly Hills (tennis instructor, I believe) who befriended a homeless guy named Tony. It would seem that Adam joined homeless people living on the street but there has never been an update that I know of. The only thing I remember is when they said Adam's brother ran into Tony, and he said something like "If you want to find Adam, look on the streets."

Anyone ever heard anything?

Well, since he is currently profiled at Doe Network (see the link below), that can mean only one thing: he is still missing.

Default You know..

This is odd, but my mom dated his brother, and I went to school with a bunch of kids that took tennis from him. It is a very sad case and there is still no word on him, but I think that if he were alive, he would tell his family he is ok. Sometimes I think he may have just up and walked away from the life he knew, but realisticly he is probably dead. His brother did tell me that they had spoken to Tony on more than one occasion after his disappearance...very sad case

Wow... that's freaky. I think the hardest part would be knowing that Tony probably has/had info and didn't share. It makes me wonder if Adam went to live on the streets and then got rolled for his money or just because he wasn't a "real" street person. I'm sure it would be tough to live on the streets without the "street smarts."

I'm also very saddened by this case. To me, it seems like a rich person realized how little others had and tried to make a difference in his own way.

Question

I think Adam went to "live" on the streets as an act of rebellion to his family. I don't think he wanted to actually live his life as a homeless person, but wanted to "hang out" on the streets to get away from the rich lifestyle of his family. I think he was hanging out one night and was beaten/killed and left on the street. Many, many "homeless" people found dead are never identified, and I think Adam was one of those people. He's probably buried as "John Doe" in some cemetary.

Now, I have no idea what kind of person Adam Hecht was, but it's hard to believe that he is still alive after all these years.

I believe they'll show it again soon, I could've sworn they showed it at least a couple of months back.

Watching the case, it appeared that Adam truly cared about those who were less fortunate. He wanted to get in touch with them even if it meant giving up his regular lifestyle. Maybe he was vulnerable because he had gotten comfortable and not only that, he knew nothing about how to survive on the streets. Who knows what Tony's intention(s) was but considering the fact that he was around Adam almost all of the time, you'd figure that he'd at least give his (Adam) family some kind of information as where he is or what happened to him.

adam was pretty wacky. if he wants to help people, fine. but dont bother everyone else by bringing your causes home. he brought tony, a smelly one-eyed bum home to his mothers house for dinner. i wouldnt .ike that if i was her.

Actually from what I can tell Adam's family didn't have all their ducks in a row either. They came from a very exclusive community and seemed to have been very sheltered from the reality of the world outside it. Some of their comments in the segment come off as very tasteless.

Actually, she didn't like it. I'll even go as far as to say she resented it. Maybe he wanted to give Tony a sense of home.

Do you think that's where the difference comes in between them and Adam?
