Should Mike Evans have just stayed away after leaving in 1975?
I saw no point in Mike Evans returning after he left the show. It was kind of odd since he was already replaced by another actor. Now if there was no replacement then I guess he could have returned but Mike comes Back after the REPLACEMENT???? I think that may have happened once in Sitcom History.
The First Vivian of Fresh Prince never Returned The First Harriet of Family Matters never returned The First Becky of Roseanne never returned See my point?-LOL |

He was supposed to come back. He only left because he was co-creator of Good Times and couldn't handle the workload when Good Times ended he came back.

I think you are both right as to why he left the show. The question is, why did he come back?

So Mike was unemployed at the time and Sherman asked him would he like to return to the Jeffersons and Mike said yes. So Sherman talked to the producers and told them he wanted Mike to return and that's how Mike reapperaed in the 1979-80 season. |
