Manhattan? Whether he disliked or not?

I can't think of an example. He didn't seem to leave Queens so he might not have talked about other places. He would not like it there if one of Ediths relatives lived there. Ha

I asked because I'm trying to think of a good reason why the Bunkers never appeared on the Jeffersons-lol So I figure I would start there by asking how Archie felt about Manhattan

I dont think he ever said anything negative against Manhattan. He complained about the subway he took but never said where he took it from. We all know however that he hated New Jersey.

That is true I wonder why they never did visit the Jeffersons. When Gloria and Mike sold there house George came by. I think that is the only time they were together again after they left for there own series.

No there was another reunion. Louise Jefferson returned to All in the Family a year after George did in 1979. That was the last time the Jeffersons and Bunkers saw each other.

That episode is called the Family Next Door. It's when the new Black Couple moves in.

I don't think so, but I remember once he said something negative about New York. It was in an early episode, when they were talking about living in california, and Edith said" so-and-so says that you can get up in the morning, reach out the window, and pluck an orange right off a tree." Or something like that, and Archie said "You try that in New York, and they'll mug your arm."

Granny: "Lissen, how she got them diamonds is her business. I'm just sayin' ask her kin we buy one from her."
