Default There will be no Bandstand on AD next year

Even if the show is renewed, it seems unlikely that Bandstand will be a part of it. I think they they getting ready to include the show's movement to LA as part of the plotline (though it really took place in February of 1964). I also remember Michael Brooks saying in the first season that kids could not dance on the show once they turned 18. Meg's 18th birthday is in August of 1966 (remember her 16th birthday coincided with the Philadelphia riots of August, 1964). So they would have to phase her, and Roxanne, off of Bandstand. Of course, right now the important thing is just hoping that the show is back at all next year, but I suspect that the Bandstand plotline will not be a part of it if there is a 1966-67 season.

That would be odd though because the show revolves around American Bandstand....

I'm pretty sure they would think of some way to keep AB at the show...Like Rox being the hair-stylst and Meg someting like the producer's assintant or somethin else!

Yeah, I'm sure they'll work on the set. That was the whole point of the show anyway--to have half of it about music.
