Default Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards DIVORCE

LOS ANGELES Mar 2, 2005 — Actress Denise Richards has filed for divorce from her actor-husband Charlie Sheen, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court papers filed Wednesday.

Richards, 34, is six months pregnant with the couple's second child. They also have a daughter, Sam, who will be a year old next week.

The couple married in June 2002 and co-starred in "Scary Movie 3." Richards and Sheen, 39, met while shooting the independent film "Good Advice" in 2000.

They began dating after Richards guest-starred on Sheen's former series "Spin City." The marriage was Sheen's second and Richards' first.

Sheen, who now stars in the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men," is best known for his work in the movies "Platoon," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Hot Shots."

Richards, a former Bond girl, has appeared in a host of movies, including "Wild Things" and "Starship Troopers."

I cannot believe this. Celebrities in Hollywood are always divorcing, but damn I thought those two were gonna make it.

There has to be a lot going on with this story. I hate to say this, but I have a feeling that Charlie was stepping out. How often do you hear of couples divorcing when the wife is pregnant. This isn't a separation, this is a divorce. Denise means business.

Charlie Sheen was a wild playboy in his single days. I hope I'm wrong, but this has other woman (women) written all over it.

Sad. I like them both. I thought they were the real thing.

To be honest, I'm surprised it lasted this long.

The media portrayed them as the perfect couple, Charlie must be back to his old ways or Denise just used him for babies.

That's what I thought about Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt......
To me it seems like such a waste of money and everyone's time... Most of them are divored within a couple months if that.... They brag about their big special day then bam!!! couple months to a year down the road it's over...over stupid stuff to I bet..... Waste!!!!!!

They get divorced for the same reason they get married; they're bored. It's all play acting to them........that's Hollywood. Who do most of the "beautiful people" marry? Other "beautiful people". They don't really know each other, it's just for looks.

It is a waste, and I agree! What's the point of going through it all when you're just going to wind up divorcing the other person in about a year's time? Not that it happens with every couple but good grief, you'd have to wonder with all of the divorces popping up left and right. I don't see why they don't just live together, like Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn or Jessica Lang and Sam Shepard. At least they're still together.

Has anybody seen Denise in a new movie called The Life with Daryl Hannah? It just came out on video recently. I saw it at the video store today. I'm gonna check it out. It's about the world of prostitution. Daryl is a prostitute who is Denise's neighbor. Denise is having a hard time with money while she's going to school so she sells her body for extra cash. This movie is unrated so i'm sure there's lots of sex in it.

I saw The Life yesterday & it's very boring. It's like a documentary where they show different prostitutes talkin about their lifestyle. Denise did have a sex scene with a man but they didn't show it that long. They showed it for only a few seconds.
