As many of you know today is Read Across America Day so I'm starting a thread for Dr.Seuss.

I had to read to the elementary kids today and I read to 3 second grade classes and they were adorable. I read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" LOL and the whole time I was reading all I could think was "this man had to be on acid" LOL

Anyway, Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

The first book I read my daughter when she was still in her crib was 'The Foot Book'; now she reads it to me along with many others

Dr. Suess has a birthday. One of the best arthor's ever. He also created the Cat in the Hat and the Grinch. I used to read Dr. Suess' books since I was a kid.

Haha in memory of him we had green eggs and ham and lets just day it was the nasty thing I have ever eaten and it smelled as bad as it tasted. Anyway Happy b-day Dr.Suess!

Hop on Pop was one of the first Dr Seuss books I remember reading as a little kid.

I remember this day from Elementary School but forgot it was today. I always skipped that day... hated reading.
