Looking for lost Jackie Gleason films and TV Specials...
Many of these probably aired just once. If you have any, please email me. Maybe we can work out a trade. I have every other film Gleason has ever made, (even the early ones with very small parts...Navy Blues, Tramp Tramp Tramp, Escape From Crime, Larceny Inc., Steel Against the Sky, etc. ) as well as the entire 26 shows of The Life of Riley, his first TV series. Thanks.
1. Million Dollar Incident (CBS-4/21/61) TV movie starring Jackie Gleason, George Jessel, Jack Klugman, Everett Sloane, Peter Falk, Ed Sullivan. Screenwriter, arranger, conductor and actor, Jackie Gleason stars in this unusual tale of a kidnapping and ransom. 2. The Big Sell (CBS-10/9/60) TV special with Jackie Gleason, Art Carney and Phil Harris. A tongue in cheek salute to the American salesman. This program was broadcast live. 3. Step On the Gas (CBS-10/19/60) TV special with Jackie Gleason 4. The Jackie Gleason Show (CBS-10/11/73) One hour special as Gleason joins The June Taylor Dancers in a razzle-dazzle 1920s-30s song-and-dance number. 5. The Jackie Gleason Special (CBS-12/20/70) with Art Carney, Sheila MacRae, and Jane Kean. 6. The Many Worlds of Jackie Gleason (CBS-1/4/64) This special edition of the American Scene Magazine marks Jackie Gleason's 35 years in show business. Art Carney is host.
