Default SERIES FINALE

I did not think much of the Finale, I mean it was a good show, but it just reminded me of another episode and not one that was exciting and everything.

Well NYPD Blue is over....

I thought it was pretty good. It sort of reminded me of the Cheers final in that the 15th precinct will continue to go on even if we aren't there anymore. I thought the ending was especially good where Andy was in his new office alone while the squad all said goodnight and congratulations to him. Its hard to believe its over. When the show premiered their weren't to many high rated dramas and now television is loaded with them.

The last five minutes were the only thing that had "finale" written all over it. The rest of the episode seemed pretty normal and very tame.

Sipowitz' ass would have been a good final shot.

The final episode was done in good taste IMO. I was glad to see that it wasn't overly dramatic and no major character was killed off. Andy taking over as squad commander was appropriate as it showed that his character had gone from the troubled one to someone that had grown up and was now the teacher/leader.

Sipowicz is my all-time favorite character on television..........other than Eddie Haskell of course.

I'll miss the show, have seen all 261 episodes and hope that they start making it available on DVD. I have the first two seasons but there hasn't been a third season release as of yet.

I loved it. It started out like any other episode and then progressed from there. I especially loved the ending. That was such a cool way to incorporate every character into the last scene. I haven't watched it in a while, but it looked like Dennis Franz might have gotten a little teary toward the end there. After all, it was the ending of twelve years of his life! I'd be sobbing! Actually I think I did cry when it was over!
