I do sometimes,But I feel annoyed when you have to call the front
desk for clean towels, the toilet won't work, shampoo, soap etc. I even think the room smell sometimes,Ugh one time we stayed at this motel in New Mexico during vacation and the whole room smelling like **** and vomit!,I felt nauseated the whole damn time. I told my parents to call the front desk and tell them to switch to another room, but they didn't want too since we already had paid. |

My mother would have a coronary if our rooms weren't spotless. It's great when we get nice, clean people who know how to pick up after themselves, but that's becoming a less and less common thing these days. You don't realize how horrible some people's habits are until you have to clean up after them. We have to be clean, so we all expect the same from tourists as well.

Anyhoo, I've gotten spoiled into only liking suites. My fav is Residence Inn, cuz I get my own bedroom with my own bathroom, plus a fridge. Though the last couple have been not as clean or tidy as usual. |

I like hotels.
Last fall I had just gotten done driving 13 hours from Minnesota to Oklahoma. I stopped as soon as I got across the border, and the first place I get to, I hear "I'm sorry...but you have to be 21 to get a room...and this rule applies in all of Oklahoma." But before I had enough time to react and **** my pants, she said, "well, I guess you can have a room. You don't look like you'll be having any big parties or anything." So I got my room. I especially like hotels that have wireless access.

![]() I've seen some of the messes people make just by walking by their room if the door is open. And here's me, who doesn't even put clothes in the drawers. One time some dude left his swim trunks in the bathroom and the maids left them there. That was gross. |

Since I used to do a lot of traveling across the country. I have stayed in some of the funkiest Motel rooms in the USA
I think the a motel that I remember the most was this junky one in "Where the hell are We?" Kansas...

I've stayed in a number of motels... my favorite is one up at Hampton Beach we stay at every year. We've known the owners forever, so of course we get special treatment
But we always make sure to clean up after ourselves.Another favorite of mine was La Chiquita Inn down in Arlington, VA. A cute little place. |

I *LOVE* staying in hotels. I don't get to do it often so whenever I do, my friends and I always live it up. It's so fun just to chill out, order some pizzas, have things delivered to you
Nothing really bothers me about it. In fact, I'm staying in a nice hotel in NJ for a weekend(Beatlefest on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of April). It's so fun.
