Default American Idol needs to get rid of.......

........Simon Cowell. He is such a cold ass hole. I've seen him tell lots of auditioners that they weren't good! These were people with great voices with potential and I thought they were very good. I am no judge, but I do see who can sing and who can't. I'll bet Simon can't get up on stage and do any better.

If Simon were to go, it would be a fatal mistake; AI's ratings would go down a lot. It would not be the same without him.

He hasn't been a record producer for a few years. He's been in the industry longer than that. Longer than I have been alive, or most people here for that matter. He's heard all kinds of voices and I think he knows a good voice when he hears one.

He doesn't tell people that they are bad just to be mean. He's just giving them a reality check. I think he has toned himself down considerably the past couple of seasons.

I'm sorry, I have to disagree with you. He is too cold. I don't care for him!

I see you posted below how you hated Paula Abdul. I like her. Simon is staight up ass! He turns away good talent. He also gives credit to not so good talent.

I agree with you. Well I mean I don't hate her, but she just gets on my nerves sometimes because she's just waaaayyyyy too nice. Plus a lot of the stuff she says is just so damn corny. "Fantasia, this is like the Olympics and you've just won your gold!" Oh man give me a break. But then again, sometimes I like her because she finds the good in even the worst of the worst performances.

And whoa no way... getting rid of Simon would KILL American Idol! Sure sometimes he's pretty mean, but he is so honest. He's not afraid to speak his mind. And he's definitely the most realistic. Like Paula and Randy could be kissing someone's ass when in reality, they did terrible.. and Simon let's them know the truth. I agree with Brian, he's toned down a lot over the past few seasons. Like yeah, he was really really reeeaaally mean in season 1, but now I don't even see him as mean. I just see him as honest. Brutally honest sometimes, but still honest.

If Simon left, I'd jump off a bridge.

People who don't like Simon should know that he doesn't care, probably likes it that tons of people don't like him. He's the only realistic judge on the show. Randy is cool and so Paula but their comments are so meaningless. No one cares what they say unless Simon agrees. Yeah Simon can be totally mean, but he's telling people the truth, always. I'm not some huge Simon fan, I just think he is super important to the show.

I understand he's being real. But I'm pointing out that he passed up good talent at times. Paula and Randy they are trying to give people the benefit of the doubt before telling people they are not good.
