The Division cast are all the same age in High School and dealing with their own problems, tragedies, and just normal lives.

Starts: (Jinny Exstead stretches out of bed on a saturday morning)
Jinny: (Realizes that she's at home just noticing an empty vodka bottle under her feet as she kicks it underneath her bed) Oh god..(Feeling puzzled)
John Jr: (Knocks on Jin's door) Hey, your late what the hell?
I came by your door 4 times already. (Sighs)
John Sr: John, did you get your sister up yet? Come on I ask you one thing and__
John Jr: Dad! (Shrieks) I have tried to get her up so many fricken times. How about you get her up? I'll go put breakfast on the table. (Brushes past his father with a pissed off look on his face)
John Sr: (Slowly apporaches Jinny's door) Jinny! (Shouts and knocked twice)
Jinny: Um, yeah..dad. I'm up. I'm..up. Let me um get dressed, ok? If I miss the bus then I'll do John's chores for a month. Just please give me some extra time. Maybe..uh you can take me in late.
John Sr: Fine just start getting ready, ok? (Leaves down the hallway)

(Jinny is getting ready for school but stops right after she brushes her teeth and her head begins to throb)
Jinny: (Puts her toothbrush down) Forget this. (Turns off her bathroom light)
John Jr: Yo, you look like crap sis.
Jinny: (Trots down the stairs) Oh thank you so much. Look I'm not hungry.
John Jr: Don't tell me I cooked for nothing. Oh well more for Casey, he better eat this.
Jinny: Ugh, I don't think I wanna go today. I don't feel good at all.
John Sr: (Walks down stairs in his cop uniform) Hey, I gotta go. John, can you make sure Casey gets to school this morning and I left a list on what to do because your mother won't be home from the Casino till late tonight.
Jinny: Oh dad, I'm really not feeling well can I please take the day off.
John Sr: (Feels Jinny's forehead) Ah, no fever. But you look terrible. Ok, stay home since you haven't missed any school yet.
Jinny: Thanks dad. (Putters back upstairs to knock on Casey's door to make sure he's up and awake)
Casey: (Rolling around in bed with newspapers laying under his body) I'm coming, I'm coming.
Jinny: Case, come on 2nd grade isn't that hard to make you wanna complain.
Casey: (Opens his door as Jinny helps him get ready and makes sure he has everything packed helping her older brother out with things)

(Magda is walking to her bus stop with her younger sister Lilly)
Magda: (Pulling her coat over her body more to keep warm) Hey Lilly, would you stop bugging me.
Lilly: Mag, please. It's just for tonight and I promise I'll never ask you for anything.
Magda: Yeah, yeah same old song.
Lilly: Come on, it really isn't a big deal and I won't ruin it. The last time I did that was when I was like 10.
Magda: I said I will think about it. Look, this coat costs alot of money. I bought it with my own money which I worked for all this past summer.
Lilly: Ok, but tell me by the end of today if I can borrow it or not. It just goes great with this **** and cover up.
(Bus arrives)
Magda: (Pulls out her walkman) Damnit, Jin better be here.
(Some tall dirty blonde haired girl comes over and pushes Mag over to sit with her)
Magda: What are you doing?
Girl: Shut up.
Magda: Excuse me?
Girl: I said shut up bitch.
Magda: What do you want?
Girl: Do you know who Raina Washington is?
Magda: Yeah, I do.
Girl: Tell me what class shes in 3rd period.
Magda: I can't tell you that. You still haven't answered my frigen question Barbie doll.
Girl: Your askin for it Rameriz.
Magda: Why do you wanna know about Raina?
Girl: You ask too many questions.
Magda: Well I wanna know.
Girl: That bitch wrote something about me on the girls bathroom door.
Magda: How do you know it was her?
Girl: Shut up latino freak I have my reasons. (Gets up and leaves Magda alone) Forget you I'll find out myself.
Magda: Ah, guess better warn Raina the queen of the bitches crowd is gonna hunt her down. (Slides her headphones back on)

(Raina and CD are sitting in class right before its time for lunch)
CD: (Rolls eyes and staring at the clock anxious to eat)
Raina: (Smiling enjoying school feeling great everytime she answers a question)
CD: Raina! (Quietly hisses to get her attention that she's gonna throw a note)
Raina: (Turns her head) Wha? I can't take this! Just..
Teacher: (Interupts them in their conversation) Ms. Washington? I hope that you are not passing a note. Nah, little miss shy wouldn't do that. Ms. Candace Taradee?
CD: (Glares at Raina likes shes alwyas got to be little miss perfect) Yeah, it was me not her.
Raina: No, look I shouldn't of talked back to her and just ignored her.
Teacher: You know our rule with notes don't you?
CD: Ohh god, your gonna read it out..loud?!
Raina: Come on, please I'm always a good kid can't you please make one acception for me just this once?
Teacher: Sorry Raina, I'm afraid I can't.
CD: (Sighs feeling like her life will be over)
Teacher: "Hey Raina, can u plz tell me when Nate Basso's lunch is b/c i never c him!! Thanks it would mean alot!"
Nate: (Smiles a little and is about to laugh)
Teacher: Aww, how sweet. Ok time for lunch. Remember to do your homework assignment for your project! (Yells while kids are going out the door)
CD: Raina! Oh man. I can't believe this. (Walking aside her in the halls)
Raina: I'm sorry CD, I really am.
Nate: (Slowly comes up to CD) Um, hi.
CD: (Nervously looks over her shoulder)
Nate: Ah, sorry did I scare ya?
CD: Uh, uh, uh, no. You didn't.
Raina: CD why don't you just tell Nate the truth and now that it's out in the open..
CD: Tell him what, there is nothing to tell him. I wanted to find out for a friend of mine.
Raina: Come on.
Nate: It's ok if you were embarassed. I really don't mind if it was about you.
CD: Ok, here's the thing. I really like you and I've liked you since the first day I met you.
Nate: (Eyes pop out) In Kindergarten?
CD: Yes!!
Raina: She wants to know if you would like to hang out with us sometime.
CD: Raina!

CD: Ok, sounds great. Um..what do you think of me now that your ok with this?

Nate: Wow..(Backing up talking getting caught up in the moment and backs into a 12th grader) Ohh, damn I'm sorry.

CD: (Already turned around) Raina, can you frigen believe this?? I gotta tell Jin and Mag! One minute I'm so scared and the other so relaxed.
Raina: (Hears a loud crash and turns around) Eh, CD.
CD: (Looks in Raina's direction she is pointing toward) You bastards! Leave him the hell alone. (Runs over with an attitude)
Raina: (Follows looking out for her best friend)
Nate: CD, it's ok..stop. I know these guys.
CD: Really? (Folds her arms)
Nate: Yeah, just go away.
CD: No.
Raina: Hey look you freaks..
CD: Look, if you don't leave my man alone I'm gonna twist your goddamn testies in a knot and I am so dead serious.
12th grader with his friends: Nate..hah! He has a girl? You?
CD: Why not? You don't believe me? (Goes over and starts making out with Nate against the locker and then reaches down for the 12th grader's balls)
12th grader and his friends: Ah, **** you little violent bitch..ok I will leave you and your little loser boyfriend alone.
Nate: (Surpised and shocked she did that for him and even kissed him)
Damn.
CD: See ya around Nate, let's go Raina.
Raina: (Feeling shocked too she picks up her notebooks and goes with CD)

(Jinny is laying in her bed that night feeling really comfortable until she hears a moaning and sobbing growing louder and louder)
Jinny: (Rubs her eyes and steps out of bed) Casey? (Opens his door quietly)
Casey: (Curled up in his bed soaking wet from wetting the bed again and having disturbing nightmares) Jinny, close the door. Close it.
Jinny: (Closes it and comes over) Case..oh god you wet the bed didn't you?
Casey: (Nodds yes)
Jinny: Ah, it's ok. I'll get you some fresh clothes and fresh sheets. Pick up your pillow and meet me in my room and I'll pull out my couch-bed.
Casey: Ok, thanks Jinny. I owe you again don't I?
Jinny: No you don't now go to my room before you wake people up.
Casey: (Started getting changed before Jinny entered the room)
Jinny: (On her way in the hallway to the laundry room downstairs) Ah, **** I gotta find a basket..I'll steal one from John's room.
Casey: (Still waiting for Jinny to come into the room so they finally sleep)
Jinny: (Stepping downstairs into the laundry room with the basket of urinated clothing)
(All of a sudden hears a knock on the back door and she is startled by it)
(Knocking continues)
Jinny: (Swallows hard but answers it slowly)
Louise/Jin's mom: Hi baby. Oh my gosh what are you doing up this late? I don't want to wake anyone.
Jinny: Um, Casey wet his bed. So..yeah. But how was um your trip? Did you get the job fully?
Louise: Uh, the trip was ok but no I didn't get the job. (Her mother mumbled as she was biting her nails)
Jinny: Ah, mom I'm sorry.
Louise: No honey, that's ok. It..it's not the end of the world right?
Jinny: No, it's not.
Louise: Is your homework done?
Jinny: Some of it, and it's a Friday.
Louise: Well, ain't you lucky.
Jinny: Yep.
Louise: Go check if your brother is still awake I wanna see him.
Jinny: He has been asking for you all day too. (Then realizes something wrong with her mother's eyes) Mom, are you ok?
Louise: Yeah, yeah yeah I'm fine. Why,why wouldn't I be fine?
Jinny: Mom, stop your on Cocaine again aren't you?
Louise: Jin, what are you talking about I would never ever do such a thing.
Jinny: I saw you in the closet, 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Louise: (Tips head to other side) You..you what? So Jinny Louise you were spying on me?
Jinny: I wasn't spying I was worried about your behavior lately and_
Louise: Bu..t but it's just not fair finding out about other peoples personal secret lives. Not fair at all.
Jinny: Mom, why don't you just stop? You know it's bad for you and you can affect you and your family too. It's not worth it just to shed some pounds.
Louise: (Bangs on dryer hard) Shut up! Just shut the hell up! I am not, not trying to loose weight! Wh..who told you that? Ok, let me guess baby, another one of those days where you are a little rat trying to find out about other peoples lives. Is that it?
(Then lites a cigarette and puts her trembling hand into her pocket)
Jinny: And I thought you stopped smoking a long time ago.
Louise: Ohh, heh. Didn't I tell you? As you know I feel like I'm under alot of stress. You wouldn't want mommy to feel worse and worse do you?
Jinny: (Sighs and doesn't have one good thought running through her mind)
(Casey comes flying down the stairs after turning on the light getting so excited that his mom is home)
Casey: Mom! Mom, omg! You're home! I missed you so much! Life was heck without you! (Leaps into her arms)
Louise: Ohh my baby boy! (Hugs him tight with a tear streaming down her face)
I missed you too. So much has happened I'm guessing while I was gone?
Casey: Some things weren't too great without ya here. Mom..why are you crying?
Didn't you get the job?
Louise: No hon, I didn't.
Casey: Too bad. You should of gotten it. You worked hard every night and prepared.
Jinny: (Looks down thinking how is mom going to act now and if her split personality will affect the familt even worse than it ever did)

Starts: (3 weeks later Jinny is doing all the housework again and things were growing worse after her mother returned)
Casey: (Decided to help out and dry the dishes for Jinny) Jinny, I am really worried about mom. Jinny?
Jinny: (Distracted and remembering a flashback of the time that her mother was normal for about 1 year and it was the best year and summer of her life)
Casey: Jin?
Jinny: (Falling out of the flashback the dish slipped out of her soapy hands and shattered all over the polished floor)
Oh, ****! Damn it. (Gathers up peices as her little brother helps her)
Casey: Let me hel..
Jinny: Case, no you could cut yoursel..
Casey: (His hand slid as he leaned over and the glass cut right through his hand)
(Shrieks) Oh my god! Jinny! It hurts..I need a towel!
Jinny: (Takes one look at it and wraps a towel around it) Mom?! Mom?
Casey: Please, what's gonna happen to me? Jinny?
Jinny: Mom! God where is she.
Casey: (Starts to cry thinking something bad is going to happen)
Jinny: (Runs into her mother as she turns inton the bathroom corner) Oh mom, please Casey needs to see a doctor he cut his hand on the dishes. (She said between breaths)
Louise: (As Jinny gazed into her mother's eyes they were bloodshot and she was sick of a hangover)
Jinny: Mom? Hello? Casey needs a frigen doctor he could get a blood infection! He could need stitches!
Louise: (Finally snaps into her daughter's attention and looks down at Casey's bleeding hand) Oh my..god! Oh my god! Oh no..(All of a sudden Jinny's mother reacts like Jinny's never seen before)
Jinny: Mom? Are you with me here!?
Louise: (Covers her mouth with her hand and freaks out) You little bitch! You..you little whore!
Jinny: Mom! What are you saying? (Starts to studder)
Louise: You did this! (She yelled) I can't believe this is how you are..how you have turned out..(Begins to tremble and just wasn't in her right mind) I can't deal with this! I..I can't I..I'm going to throw up!
Jinny: (Pulls Casey along with her) God damn you! I can't believe YOU would even fuking talk to me like that! I help you and I've always helped you and I don't really have the time for this!
Casey: (Breaks away from his big sister and in a panic he runs out the front door to a neighbors house)
Jinny: Casey! (Spins around)
Louise: (Bolts for the toilet)
Jinny: Maybe he's better off going to find real help. (Follows Casey to see where hes headed)
