Does anyone know why Shawn Harrison left the show, was he having problems like Jo Marie Payton or did he just quit to do something else? I thought his character was very funny and I was upset when he left the show. Does anyone know exactly what happened to the character of Waldo on the show?

I don't know why Shawn Harrison himself left the show. But his character Waldo moved to New York to go to a cooking school. In one episode in season 8 Maxine read a Dear Max letter from him.
