In the "Old Soldiers" episode, Col. Potter says "Give that man a scheroot." First of all, what's a "sheroot," and second, how is it spelled?

KNowing Col. Potter's penchant for making up his own versions of words, I'm thinking the word might be his version of French. What the actual word is, I don't know.

Maybe it's a brand of cigar, as in give that man a cigar.

It is. I watched the ninth season episode where Col. Potter's physical reveals his blood pressure, and the camp helps him lower it.

Yes, I saw that ep the other day, and he referred to one of Igors prized Havana stogies as a sheroot.
