Default 1984 was a good year for movies

The Karate Kid

Splash

Bachelor Party

Beverly Hills Cop

Police Academy

Beat Street

Breakin'

Nightmare on Elm Street

Ghostbusters

Gremlins

Purple Rain

Revenge Of the Nerds

The Terminator

Sadly, most of these movies had sequals they were not as good as the originals.

It was on TBS fairly often, but I can't remember the last time I saw it.

Me, too. Hopefully it'll happen.

Beat Street, Breakin, Beverly Hills Cop are my favorites from 84. I was watching Beverly Hills Cop last night. I like the scene where Eddie goes to the hotel to check in for a room & he gets smart with the hotel attendant lady. He said i'm a Rolling Stone magazine reporter doing a article on Michael Jackson. I was gonna call the article Michael Jackson is sittin on top of the world but now i might as well call it Michael Jackson can sit on top of the world as long as he doesn't sit in the Beverly Hills Palm hotel cause ain't no niqqas allowed in there hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Then her boss came to the desk & he told Eddie he could get him a room but he was gonna charge him $235. Eddie stared at him LOL. That is a lot of money for a room for one night. The other scene i love in Beverly Hills Cop is when Eddie takes Rosewood & Taggert to a strip club. Vanity's Nasty Girl song is playin & Eddie is jamming hahahahahahahahahaha. Eddie tells Rosewood it's ok for his d**k to be hard cause it's supposed to be when you're around a stripper LOL. Eddie said Taggert wouldn't tell you if his d**k was hard cause he's on duty, his d**k gotta stay limp while he's on duty hahahahahahahahahahaha. Eddie was so silly back in the day. I miss that silliness from him cause his movies suck now.

My favorite scene is when Eddie goes into that high class club posing as a f-gg-ot! I always crack up when I watch that scene unedited. This was Eddie Murphy at his best.
