"Beaver's Ring": Family Heirloom
Don't you think little 8 year old Theodore was too young to be entrusted with a family heirloom? Anyone with half a brain would know that an 8 year old kid couldn't safeguard a family heirloom. Should June and Ward have 'confiscated' the ring and let Beaver wear it only on special occasions like visits from Aunt Martha, family reunions, birthdays, etc.?
