Default Which part of Goodbye (pt2) was your fave?

I just have one question. After watching my tape of Goodbye (pt2) last night, I found that Michael has a "moment" with everyone on his staff. Here they are:

1) Michael and Carter ("I love you too Carter" - Mike)

2) Michael and Janelle ("I keep hoping one channel will have a happy ending" - Janelle)

3) Michael and Nikki ("Now the thought of not seeing you every day is...10 times worse" - Nikki)

4) Michael and James ("James, you are that guy" - Mike)

5) Michael and Stuart (I can't remember any quote from this but stuart says they don't need to blubber about Mike leaving, and then he basically starts to cry while Mike just looks at him. )

6) Mike and Paul ("I love you man" - Paul)

7) Mike and Caitlin (Their dinner together)

8) Mike and the Mayor ("I love you son" - The mayor)

For me its a toughie between, Mike & James, Mike & Nikki and Mike & Stuart.
The first time I saw it I started crying when Stuart couldn't take it anymore and stormed out (because then they show James and Nikki crying as well), the second time I started crying when Mike was telling the story about James because everyone is looking at him with such love in their eyes, and the third time I started crying when Nikki and Mike were talking at the bar because Nikki and Mike are my favourite television couple (just behind Ellen and Alex of "Family Ties") and I started crying because they never got together .
I guess I just all together that scene at the bar. But if I had to choose I would say Mike & Stuart.

I haven't seen these episodes and I want to really bad, but from your quotes of what he says to them and they say to him it makes me want to cry just reading them. I like this show because Michael J. Fox is in it and it just wouldn't be the same to me.

I bought the Volume 2 of his all time favorites that has the Goodbye episodes and I loved Goodbye part 2. I cry every time I watch it. I think the part I liked the best was with Mike and James and Mike and the Mayor.

Couldn't agree more.
My very favorite part has to be the scene with Mike and the mayor, where Randall goes: "I just wanna say that I'm proud of you and that... I love you son!" That made me cry so bad.
And second to that is the scene with Mike and James (James - you are that guy!) Absolutely incredible.
I cry throughout most of that episode... hehe

I honestly love all of the parts where he says goodbye to everyone. All of the scenes made me cry, except the one with Janelle. I don't know, it wasn't that emotional, and it wasn't that long. But I have to say I just started bawling where they were all at the bar, and from that part on, I was crying like a baby. I even watched it today again with my friend since I taped it, and I cried again, and she was soo close to crying too, and she isn't even a fan of the show.

I am SOOO glad though it ended on a happy note, and that at least we knew what really happened to Mike after the left the office.
