What do you think members at SO would be surprised or interested to know about you?

For me, I guess that I'm a softie at heart. I come across as authoritative on the boards, but that's just my moderator persona.

I can't whistle to save my life. Tried when I was a kid, and could never get the hang of it.

I love animals almost to the point of obsession.

I hate O.J. Simpson with a passion.

I'm a great cook but a lousy dancer. Think Elaine on Seinfeld, lol. Not really that bad, but close.

I'm mourning the loss of both my parents and sister. I lost them in the last three years.

My cat is 16 and he's not well. He's fading away, and I'm sad about it.

I have four adult stepchildren and eight stepgrandchildren (ages 10 and under). I spoil them.

My husband is turning 65 this June, but looks 50. Still, I worry about him. He's 18 years older than me.

I'm a funny person. I make my friends laugh.

I have to really watch my weight or I'll get fat. Seven years ago, I gained 25 pounds, but took it off.

I'm shy around strangers.

I was a Democrat until 2001. Voted for Clinton, Gore.

I stopped drinking 19 years ago, in my 20s. I wasn't out of control, just liked to party too much, but I knew it would only cause problems in my life. I quit smoking then too.

I've been married for almost 20 years, but in 1991, my husband and I separated. We were off and on for two years. It was my fault.
We're very happy today.

Any member who doesn't know me real well would probably be surprised to know that I am Autistic. Even people in real life don't know that unless I tell them because I am so high-functioning.

On the computer I am very good at having conversations with people. Off the computer it is a different story: I am the opposite with people I see face-to-face.

I think people would be amazed that I am actually a very private person.
Also that I am quiet..
Gave up a 19 year old cigarette habit and it has been almost 8 full months without a smoke.
That I am in my 30s and but I act like a teen-ager here at SO

That I am an excellent dancer
Helped raise my bestfriend's daughter
That I help take care of my mom who suffered a stroke a couple of years ago
I run five miles a day
I do not consume sweets or any sugar..I gave up sodas a couple of months ago.
I have my own business
Once worked as a model
Was asked to pose for Playboy...but said No.
Used to have an eating disorder
Was terribly shy as a child
I am actually a Republican...but a very liberal one...
Totally interested in the Stock Market

Well I'm not sure what people here think about me to begin with so I don't know what things about me would surprise them.
The only interesting thing going on in my life right now is that I'm finally getting married this fall. I'll be 33 and I'm really looking forward to living with someone and raising children. I was beginning to think I would never get married because I was so used to being by myself until Tom came along.

I feel the same way too, but I'm just 25, so I guess I have some time to go.

My life in a nutshell...

I love my cat, Chloe, more than life itself.
I want to work in the Whtie House or be in the FBI/CIA one day.
I don't eat any meat except chicken.
I DESPISE talking on the phone.
I'm the only Red Sox fan in my family.
I kicked a nasty drug habit last year, and so far, I'm doing really well on piecing my life back together.
I love old cars.
I'm obsessed with anything 80's.
I'm ambidextrous
Give me coffee and nobody gets hurt.
I love being in Boston.
I've been dancing Ballet since Kindergarten
I adore musicals, as well as opera music.
My life-long dream is to be on Broadway... but fat chance.

Hmm, here's a few things about me that some people don't know:

* I almost died when I was a baby. My grandpa had to revive me.

* I plan on going in to the field of criminal psychology but my main dream has always been to be a writer.

* I'm only 4 foot 11 inches

(and 22 years old)

* I'm obsessed with vintage nostalgia (hence the username)

* I'm left handed

* I'm a pretty quiet person until you really KNOW me....then I don't shut up

* I have no political or religious affiliation...I consider myself a free spirit.

I want to become a psychiatrist and writer

I treasure people and live to help others

I am not a huge believer in organized religeon but I do have faith...I believe my soul is my religeon and it guides me through every day

Er, I don't know.

- I love traveling (farthest I went was London, England)
- I skipped a grade in school. I should have graduated in 2004, but I graduated in 2003. Yay!
- I spend a lot of time at school working for my school's paper
- I experienced a very, very serious type of death in the family back in November. It was not a car accident or anything like that. I still have recurring thoughts about the night I visited that relative in the ICU...my recurring thoughts will stay with me forever. I hope to God nobody else here ever goes through what I did. It has changed me a lot. If you want to know more, PM me.

I dont like to be in trouble too much, I never am

Lots of people like me at school, just like here

I know a boy named Jeremy who DIRVES ME UP A FREAKIN' WALL he annoys me to no end

I love any kind of food!

Im allergic to dairy stuff like I can have rice millk but not regular

Cant think of anything else
