Default Who had the nappiest hair?

I find it very funny seeing James pull a hat off his head and seeing his hair stick up. So I would say James needed a comb more than anybody. Micahel was a close second especially when he was younger.

Good Question...I agree with you on James, even though he was handsome..but I wonder what Willona's real hair looked like?

I know I didn't specifically asked for regulars, but I assumed everyone knew I meant regulars.

James' hair was intentionally unkept. Did they ever show Willona's real hair? You know it wasn't until well into adulthood that it dawned on me that she wore wigs in the episodes. At least in one episode (I think it's the one with the dog food/meatloaf) they have an in-joke about it when someone pulls her into a chair and she has to keep her wig from falling off.

Wigs were quite common for African American actresses prior to the 80s when gheri curls, braids, and weaves came in. Esther Rolle wasn't one to wear them though and I always thought she looked very regal with her Afro.

lmao @ this thread...

my vote goes to JJ...

I never noticed all the wig wearing in the 70's shows either till I got a little older...even though Willona having hair down to her back one episode and then having a a short doowop the next should have been a sign.

In the episode where James gets hired for a job in Alaska, I believe that is her real hair she's wearing. She looked good with her short hair, I don't think she needed a wig!

I don't know who started this racist, offensive thread but how would people laugh if somebody asked a question, like which white character on Happy Days had the smallest penis?
