On Mondays episode of Gunsmoke Alan Hale Jr was on it. The episode is called Champion of the World" This episode is from the 1966-1967 season It is kind of ironic that Alan Hale guest stared on Gunsmoke because Gunsmoke would eventualy take Gilligan's place. It was a neat episode and he did'nt die or get shot. Thats amazaing for Gunsmoke

I was watching Hang 'Em High with Clint Eastwood and he was in that as well. He was part of the group that hung Clint, and was later caught in town. He was playing a blacksmith.

I saw that. He's also in an episode of The Andy Griffith Show.

I have seen him on Andy Griffith to. The episode is calle The Farmer Takes a Wife. I think its neat watching him stand next to Don Knotts because he is so much bigger than him

I recently saw Alan Hale in an episode of the Untouchables...in a friendly, happy role. Too bad he winds up getting knocked off.

Believe it or not, Gunsmoke is in my top 15 favorite shows. Even if it is the reason GI ended, it is still a very good show.
