Jane was sensational in season 4 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I am so glad that Josie Bisset went to the producers and demanded that she have changes made for her character on the show. Jane stopped playing the passive victim and started taking names. I loved it. Everytime something happened to her, she would have a counter for it:

Season Three: Jane begged Amanda to introduce her to Richard Hart one of the owners of a big time fashion company. Amanda says no. Jane corners him with Amanda trying to stop her m then Jane throws her to the floor and precedes to pursue him for business.

Jane overhears Jo make a catty comment about her and then Jane decks her across the face.

She uses Michael to win back Richard from Jo. Poor Michael being used by Jane, now that is a switcheroo.

Jane being a threat to Sydney as far as Michael goes. Jane was the source for Michael and Sydney's increased sex life. Sydney was not happy.

When Jane thinks that Richard stole her designs for a fashion show, she attends and then sabotages his show and his career.

Jane is blackmailed by Jo to work with Richard again and then he eventually finds out and raped her in New York. She kills two birds with one stone by plotting to kill him along with blackmailing her sister Sydney to help after finding out that she slipped barbituals into her drink paralyzing her temporarirly.

Jane was a more interesting character this season and look extremely hot(I do mean that in a respectful way) I loved her look with the shoulder lenght hair and then with the hot bleach blond short cut. She truly was a B- this season. Thumbs up to Josie for bringing my favorite character around.

I am loving it on Soap Net right now because her and Syd just "killed" Richard. This is so funny! She is a great actress though!

Between the end of season two through the end of season 3, Jane Andrews Mancini has beend such a passive character. Everytime she is victimized now, she fights back and she fights back hard.
