This is going to sound extremely odd, but any of the slower/older songs by Evanescence. 'My Immortal', 'Solitude', 'Missing', 'Exdous', 'Away From Me'.
Also... 'You Raise Me Up' by Josh Groban 'There You'll Be' by Faith Hill 'Autumn Leaves' by Eva Cassidy 'I'll Cover You' from the musical RENT 'Hanging By a Moment' by Lifehouse 'Hey, Jude' by the Beatles 'Yesterday' by Paul McCartney 'Hallelujah' by Jeff Buckley 'I'll Never Get Over You [Getting Over Me]' by Expose 'Somebody Help Me' by Full Blown Rose 'I Won't Back Down' by Tom Petty 'Gotta Be' by Des'ree |

I hadn't heard these for a while, and so forgot to list them until I heard them again tonight: "Show Me the Way" by Styx--particularly Dennis DeYoung's a cappella version on his live album recorded in Chicago; Dennis singing "Pilate's Dream" from "Jesus Christ Superstar"; a couple by TOTO with Stever Lukather singing lead: "I'll Be Over You" and "I Won't Hold You Back"; and "Out of Love", by TOTO with Jean-Michel Byron on lead vocals. And oh yeah...the whole Survivor album that includes "The Search is Over", "Vital Signs"!

Im not sure if it gives me chills in a good way, but I'm OK by Christina Aguicantspellit does. I don't like her music, or her, but that one song is the only song that has ever done it. I'm not even ashamed to say I like one of her songs. I listen to the lyrics and I think thats what I've wanted to say all this time

Songs that have a lot of meaning to me tend to give me chills. One song that I have always loved is "Nights in White Satin." That one gives me chills.

"God" by John Lennon...I don't know why but something about this song gives me goosebumps. I think that it might be the honesty in the song. "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin because of it's sheer power. "My Hometown" by Bruce Springsteen because Bruce could have easily written the first two verses about my own experiences growing up in my own hometown. "Middletown Dreams" because it is about life in America's heartland, where I've lived my whole life.

Every time I come back to this thread I think of more songs LOL! Guess it's cuz all the music I like effects me in a very emotional way--usually tears, but also sometimes chills.
Anyway, the obviously romantic Journey songs like "Open Arms" and "Send Her my Love"--but also "Still They Ride", "Stone in Love", the plaintive cry at the end of "Separate Ways" and the guitar in "Wheel in the Sky"; "Always", "Bed of Roses", and "It's my Life" by Bon Jovi; "A Man I'll Never Be" and "What Does it Take to be a Man" by Boston. And speaking of guitars, this is not an emotionally moving song, but the guitar riff sends chills up my spine--"Tough Boys" by REO Speedwagon. |

I also get the chills listening to Evanescence perform Korn's "Thoughtless", haha, weird song to get the chills to but the power of her voice with the piano does it for me. Lastly, I get chills with every single song in The Phantom of the Opera, because every song is so magical, especially when hearing the music and seeing it onstage or in the movie. The most chills I've ever gotten during any song was in the Phantom of the Opera Overture right after the chandelier explodes and the organ comes in...bonechilling...and brilliant |

Foolish Beat-Debbie Gibson
That song gives me the chills. She sounds sad and melancholy in this song. She sounds regretful and heartfelt. I like it better than her other #1 hit ballad, "Lost In Your Eyes." LIYE sounds kind of dull and boring compared to FB. A close favorite ballad would be "Silence Speaks A Thousand Words." SPATW didn't become a number one hit, but it is so honest and she sounds so sad in this song. Sad=chilling. LIYE doesn't have this chilling sound. She doesn't sound heartbropken in this song. Someone actually called LIYE better than FB! What! FB is tons better than LIYE. Even SPATW and it wasn't a number one hit. I have listened to SPATW many more times than I have listened to LIYE.
