That's the craziest thing, I have him on tape telling Letterman that exact Bobby Orr hockey story in 1992 when Letterman was at NBC. My VCR was still running after the last Carson show when Johnny left, and it recorded Dave's show and MJF was a guest. Weird.

MJF looked good, he's still having trouble speaking but was his usual charming self, got some laughs from the audience.

Not just laughs - huge welcome applause.

Very nice to see him getting such support. He did look pretty good, if a little physically uncomfortable at times. I have missed quite a few of his Letterman appearances over the years. If anyone has them on video or DVD and wants to trade for something, let me know.
