Default How many agree that the only Cosby Show Characters that should have appeared on ADW

was Theo and Vanessa? I saw no point In the GrandFather coming to Hillman to Visit or Clair. Theo and Vanessa were fine because they were right behind Denise in age but Grandpa Russell, Rudy, and Clair????-LOL Didn't make sense to me

No he never actually went To Hillman. He was just was seen in a episode of ADW world because Rudy Called Denise from NY. So Cliff was Talking to Denise on the Phone while he was back at the Huxtable Home. Clair guest starred on ADW like 3 times and was AT hillma every time-lol

There were WAY to many appearances by the Cosby family members in this series (esp in the first season). Offhand I can't think of any other spinoff where there were so many episodes with people from the parent show showing up. I think there are about 8 or 9 episodes, mostly in the first season. The one with Theo isn't bad and the one with Rudy makes a degree of sense plotwise, but the others in year 1 are just blatant cross promotion and are poor episodes. The ones in the other seasons aren't so bad though.

Clair was Denise's mother. Of course she'd go visit her! And she'd take Rudy with her.

I actually like the episodes Clair is in after Denise was no longer in the show (Success Lies and Videotapes is a good episode), but the ones with Grandpa Huxtable and the ones with Clair and the ones with Denise calling Cliff on the phone in year one are just tired shows.

Their were way to many appearances by the Huxtables on ADW. After Denise left their really wasn't any need for it and after awhile ADW became a better show then TCS anyway.

I also wonder if the Cosby influence during season one is a form of punishment Cosby inflicted on Lisa Bonet...giving her a "you can't do it on your own vibe." She was going through her "rebellious" youth years during those times, and the Cos wasn't having any of it. Who knows.

Default Lisa messed up.

She had her own show that was number #2 in America. Sure it needed some fine tuning, but she would have still been around when Debbie Allen took over. Plus, I loooved the Huxtable crossovers. Cliff was in at least 3 episodes, Gramps, 1, Clair,4. She appeared in once or twice in every season until season 3, Vanessa 1. Rudy, 3. Theo, 2. Martin and Olivia,1.

Cliff only appeared in ONE ADW episode with Rudy. But I don;t know if I can call it a crossover because they were talkng to Denise on the Phone. They never actually visited Hillman. Well Rudy did but not Cliff

There were at least one or two more phone calls to Dad:

1. "Pilot"
2. when Rudy visits
3. track episode

I don't know if there were anymore.

Cliff should've visited Hillman and so should have Theo.
