The Karringtons includes Firefighter dad Jimmy Karrington (John Stamos) and OBGYN mom Michelle Karrington (Lori Loughlin). Jimmy and Michelle Karrington live in their Philadelphia home with their six kids: Ian (Billy Aaron Brown), 19, Casey (Courtnee Draper), 18, Matt (Martin Spanjers), 17, Breanna (Alexa Vega), 16, Lindsay (Brie Larsen), 15, and Logan (Franky Ryan Manriquez), 11. Logan is a 5th grader, Lindsay is a 9th grader, Breanna is a 10th grader, Matt is a 11th grader, Casey is a 12th grader, and Ian is a college freshman at a community college (wanting to be firefighter like his dad). Ian is sort of the laidback, slacker type who loves sports, cars, and WOMEN (not girls, women). Casey is also laidback yet is a fashion guru who loves shopping and is a little flaky and can be quite the drama queen at times. Matt is a typical teenage boy who becomes the object in his sisters' friends' eyes. Breanna is the most athletic and sort of the most rebellious kid in the family. Lindsay is the smart, boy-crazied who may be 'book smart' yet she suffers from the lack of common sense at times. Logan is the most cute and spoiled (as mentioned by his older siblings) kid, who tends to look up to Matt and Ian as his role models (which sort of scares Jimmy and Michelle). Michelle's flirty yet single sister, Brooke (Jami Gertz) and Jimmy's recently divorced brother, Sam (Scott Baio) drop by at least once a day-sometimes to some people's delight and to some people's dismay.
