Default The Stupid Things that people do

Does it make sense for someone to answer the phone to tell the person that they are not in a TALKING MOOD? When I'm feeling that way I don't answer the phone at all.

Default One Of My Friends Used To Do Something Like That

One of my childhood friends' used to give me a call and then not talk because she would be watching tv; that got on my nerves big time.

(I reached 300 posts; I want to reach 1,000) or more if I can.

Call her up tomorrow, and when she says "hello?" You say, "Ahh, nevermind. I just don't feel like talking right now."

My phone complaint for the day:

People keep calling at work and telling me someone called them and our number was on their caller ID. I ask if they were expecting a call. The ones that say, "No, I've never been there." piss me off. Why in the hell do people call every random number that shows up on their caller ID?? If you don't know who it is, forget about it! Gawd.

Yes,I hate that too, When one of my friends calls she usually when I am
about to do chores, eat dinner etc,And I hate it sometimes because she
only breathes on the phone,or else is talking to her company at the same
time. That's so rude!

Haha, this reminds me of my mother. She refuses to ever answer the phone.
If she does decide to answer it on some rare occasion, she tells whoever is on the other line that her mother isn't home and hangs up. Or she acts like a babysitter.

I feel really bad, though. One of my mom's old friends is always calling her and my mother never answers it. She probably knows that she's being avoided... it makes me feel like crap and my mom doesn't even care.

I have an aversion to talking on the phone. As a matter of fact, I just don’t like people calling or bothering me whatsoever. I would much rather message people and have them respond to me in kind at their convenience. The phone to me is to convey information and after that, goodbye.

My wife is the opposite and will talk to someone seemingly forever. I have humorously gotten on her about it, telling her if my mother came back from the dead and called me, I would not talk to her as long as you talk to these damn people.
