Fox confirms Wonder Years DVD - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In this weeks Entertainment Magazine a Fox rep named Steve Feldstein confirms that the Wonder Years series DVD is "on the schedule".
He adds that there are "hurdles" to clear before a firm release date is aanounced.

This is great news. This is one sitcom I want on DVD, I can't wait for it to be released. It will cost more than most sitcoms on DVD, which means I will have to put a few dollars back each week and save it until the DVD is released.

It is also great that they will use the original music that was played when it was aired.

There is also a reunion type Wonder Years on DVD someone can buy to tie them over until the seasons get on DVD.

Hughpuppies, when you said "There is also a reunion type Wonder Years on DVD", does that mean a new episode or episodes? Perhaps to tie up all the loose ends like graduation?

How can I explain it? It shows scenes from different episodes, which some of the main characters telling about the scenses. You don't actually see the main character telling about the scenes you just hear them tell about them.

Hope that makes sense.
