They do have summer school, tutoring, and day camp programs over the summer. I'll check those out.

My former boss at the supermarket said I can always come back for the summer, but I think I'd rather starve to death

A lot of teachers do get summer work, but there are some who are unemployed when the summer hits.

yaaaa well me too. i work in a preschool for child care and if they don't have school then i don't have to go, because they don't have school because we don't have school. tuesday i have to do a cloud activity with them.

I wouldn't want to be a schoolteacher,but its true about the vacations and holidays.Not many jobs offer that..
