Default Writing A New Story

Ok, this is Chelsea here, and I've decided on writing a new Jack and Janet story! Now, I'm hoping that this story will be as good as some of the other stories that people have made.

Plot:
Ok, well everyone knows that everything in Apartment 201 is totally platonically, right? Wrong. Everyone knows that nothing is going on except two people. And those people are Janet's parents. As you should know, in the episode "Janet's Secret", her parents find out that she is living with Jack. But, since Terri has moved in, Janet's parents have decided that she should come home, since they think that Jack is bad news. Anyways, when hearing that Janet is forced to leave, Jack's world falls apart, and he realizes his feelings for Janet.

Now, I need 1 or 2 people to help me out when I'm busy. And they both need to be good at writing. But, I'm going to write most of the story. You also need to fill out a form if you want to help.

Form:
Name:
Age:
Sample Post (just to see how you write. Make sure it's long, too):

Hey,

This story sounds like a great idea! I dunno how much I can help, though I do get busy here and there between college and work but I DO write in my spare time(so maybe if you're stuck on something I could be of assistance.) Here, I'll fill out the form anyway and you decide

Form:

Name: Kristel
Age: 22

Sample:

Janet brushed away a tear that she had stubbornly tried fighting all afternoon as she shoved some of her clothes in to a duffel bag. As she tucked away her last nightie, her damp eyes fell upon a framed photograph on her nightstand. Her best friend Jack(and current roomate) had his arm around her neck in a warm embrace, his tongue poised at her neck in a playful manner. She smiled softly.
'Jack's always been such a fun guy,' she thought wistfully. Her fond memories were replaced by bitterness as she recalled her mother's phone call around one o'clock that afternoon.
"Janet, you're coming home," her mother's brisk voice echoing in her mind. "That Jack Tripper is no good! Living with two girls....why, it's unheard of! I'm picking you up at the airport tomorrow morning, no ifs ands or buts, young lady!"
"But, Mother! You KNOW I've lived with Jack these last few years! Why do you suddenly have a problem with it?" Janet had fired back in an equally cold tone.
"Because....because I do! This is getting to me too much, Janet! If you don't come home now you'll never hear from us again! We'll cut you off financially and emotionally! You better be at the Speedway, Indiana airport by noon sharp or you'll be sorry!" And with that, her mother had hung up, leaving Janet in stunned silence.

'Some mother...aren't mothers supposed to CARE about you.....aren't they supposed to love you unconditionally?' Janet thought sadly.

"Hey, where's the fire?"

Janet spun around and saw Jack grinning at her from the doorway. He looked handsome in his brown pants and matching vest....he always looked handsome to her-- but she'd never tell him that.
When she didn't answer, his brow wrinkled and he stepped closer, trying to look at her in the eyes. She averted her gaze, instead focusing on zipping up her overstuffed luggage.
"Janet?" he hushed softly. "What's up?"
She tucked a curl behind her ear. "Jack, I've got to go home. I know you and Terri will be happy here by yourselves and can do without me. I-"
"Without you?!! Janet, what are you talking about?"
"I have to go home...for good. My mother wants me back in Speedway."
There was an uncomfortable silence as Jack digested the news. He was shaking his head.
"Janet...I'm stunned, is all. I can't believe...."
"Jack..."
He turned away and quickly rushed out of the room. He couldn't believe the news he had just heard- Janet has to go home! His little Janet, the one he had grown to admire and love for her neverending strength and determination. Suddenly he began thinking of all the times he had spent with her, all the years she had been by his side throughout his troubles. She always seemed to bail him out of some misunderstanding, whether it be with a girlfriend or their landlord, Mr. Furley. He would miss that.

"Jack?"

"Yeah."

Janet plopped down beside him on the couch. "I wish there was something I could....to change this. But my family is very important to me....you know, strong Italian family and all. I couldn't bear the thought of my family cutting me off because I live here."
"Wait....why are they cutting you off?"
Janet couldn't avoid Jack's probing blue gaze any longer. She bit her lip and tried to smile.
"They think you're some kind of pervert."
"Well, we already knew that!" cracked Jack, only half angry. "God, Janet, this is so sudden....I mean, I really didn't expect it to end like this. I don't want you to go. I- I- really think of you as a great friend."
"I think of you as a great friend too," whispered Janet softly, her eyes gazing in to Jack's. The pain was evident in his stare, but she swore she could see a flicker of something else.
"So, what happens to us now?" he hushed, his lips ever so close to hers.

Hope you liked

Janet Wood brushed away a tear that she had stubbornly tried fighting all afternoon as she shoved some of her clothes into a duffel bag. As she tucked away her last nightie, her damp eyes fell upon a framed photograph on her nightstand. Her best friend Jack, who was her current roomate, had his arm around her neck in a warm embrace, his tongue poised at her neck in a playful manner. She smiled softly.

"Because....because I do! This is getting to me too much, Janet! If you don't come home now you'll never hear from us again! We'll cut you off financially and emotionally! You better be at the Speedway, Indiana airport by noon sharp or else!" And with that, her mother had hung up, leaving Janet in stunned silence.

'Some mother...aren't mothers supposed to CARE about you.....aren't they supposed to love you unconditionally?' Janet thought sadly and slammed the phone down.

"Hey, where's the fire?"

Janet spun around and saw Jack grinning at her from the doorway. He was wearing his light brown pants and matching vest. He looked handome....he always looked handsome to her-- but she'd never tell him that. She couldn't speak though, because of the state of shock she was still in. She was also glad she had wiped away her tear a bit ago. Obviously, she didn't want Jack to see that she was crying. Of course, she wouldn't mind him comforting her at all. But not now, espiscally when she was shocked more than ever. Or, maybe comfort from him WAS the thing she needed most. When she didn't answer him, his brow wrinkled and he stepped closer, trying to look at her in the eyes. She averted her gaze, instead focusing on zipping up her overstuffed luggage.
"Janet?" he hushed softly. "What's up?"
She tucked a curl behind her ear, still not looking up at him. Taking a deep breath, she decided that she could trust her voice. "Jack, I've got to go home. I know you and Terri will be happy here by yourselves and can do without me. I-"
"What? You're going? Janet, what are you talking about?" He looked at her in a confused way.
"I have to go home...for good. My mother wants me back in Speedway."
There was an uncomfortable silence as Jack digested the news. He was shaking his head. "Janet...I don't know what to say. I'm..stunned.."
"Jack..." She finally looked up at him, a worried look in her eyes. And more importantly, he would miss her.

"Jack?"

"Yeah."

Janet plopped down beside him on the couch. "I wish there was something I could do....to change this. But my family is very important to me....you know, strong Italian family and all. I couldn't bear the thought of my family cutting me off because I live here." She looked down at the floor, afraid that she would cry again.
You're just so important to me. You're a great friend." He looked up at her, and tried to smile at her. He still couldn't believe what was happening. It was just like his world was slowly falling apart. He just couldn't live without Janet. Not after all the things they've been through. After Chrissy left, then the got Cindy, then she left, then Terri came in. It was always them two. They were the only ones who sticked together the longest, and Jack didn't want their friendship and amazing on to end. But there was also something else he didn't want to end.
"I think of you as a great friend too," whispered Janet softly, her eyes gazing in to Jack's. The pain was evident in his stare, just likes hers. It just made Janet want to cry.

^That's the first Chapter. I want them to start realizing their feelings until a few chapters maybe.

Thank you from both of you guys! I actually signed up to that site before, but I don't know how to post the story. But, I'm going to let their confessions slip after a few chapters. Just to make the story a bit longer.

Ah I love this story. You guys are doing such a great job I love any JJ fanfic but it does seem kind of weird that all of a sudden Janet's mother doesn't want her living there anymore. You should explain that more later in the story so it makes sense. Good job

Ok, I think I will post on the Messege Boards, and on the site. I just need to finish it first!

Janet McFarland - I'm trying to come up with an idea as to why they want her home. Maybe one of her parents are actually sick or something. And then Jack can fight to win her or something.

I know they could have arranged for her to get marry to someone else there?!?! And they know how stuborn Janet is and how she likes to make her own decisions and the reason they are wanting to have her marry him is b/c Janet's father's job is at risk! ...just and idea make it dramatic ! and long!!! please!...but of course sweet and w/a cute romantic JJ ending!! ....SEE HOW I DON'T ASK FOR MUCH! jk! Can't wait !

Hmm..that sounds like a really good idea! And it would make the story a lot longer! Oh, and I'll make Jack go after her because he loves her!
